Art Therapy at The Forest Garden

Inspired by a bowl of cherry guavas picked in the forest garden, emerges an honouring of relations in the insect, plant and human realms, with a distinctly African theme.. For months we have been burning frankincense regularly, the wildness and ancient spirit  infused in its magical scent,  bathing us in smoky secrets of ancient and cosmic ways. We take notice of the medicines (anything bringing you closer to spirit) that present themselves to us and the wisdom or insight they may offer. It takes an awareness of nature and a presence of being to notice the microcosm or even the macrocosm as its shapeshifting all around us in living motion..

Often greeted by kangaroos first thing , this morning instead a centipede, under and over he goes, forward and backward, in and out..

The People of the Omo valley in Ethiopia, their magic and their plight is strongly in our awareness and we pray to great Spirit to protect this original Tribe, their ways and their sacred lands..

The art work or the regenerative work for us is always a work that reconnects to the original design of nature and to give hope in creating a bright future for the next 7 generations.. We keep going, weaving a little niche in the web of life, that hopefully is looking a little more beautiful and cohesive like the Omo people in Africa..
